Mr.Hassan Waris, Chairman & MD (Al-Shamali & Waris Co. W.L.L.), a Bangladeshi national came to Kuwait in 1958 to build a fortune like many South Asian Youngsters, who joined the burgeoning economics in the Gulf Region. In his little way, he began to contribute to the development of the City of the State of Kuwait. After four years of hard work as an employee, he has set up his own firm "Liberation Electric" in 1964.

In 1977 Mr.Hassan Waris established M/s. Al-Shamali & Waris Co.W.L.L. for Electrical Trading & Contracting with the help of a Kuwaiti, Late.Yousuf Khaleel Essa Shamali as a Partner. He remained loyal to his trade now for over four decades. During this tenure, his business expanded in manifolds as he reached out to the other side of the Gulf, i.e. U.A.E.
Moreover, he introduced Bangladeshi products like Isphahani Tea, Toothbrushes and Readymade Garments in Kuwait. His business and other Social activities are currently spread out in the three different countries i.e. Kuwait, Bangladesh and the U.A.E. |
